Life itself requires courage, requires an almost noble sense of doing what you can, as you can do it. Life itself makes demands of us, asks us to expand, grow into our potential. Whatever that is. None of us live in a vacuum, fully separated from the rest of the world, we must explore who we are in order to become more of who we are, more of who we like about ourselves. The context of our individual lives can make this a daunting prospect, seemingly full of blocks and stops until something emerges newly minted, arriving fresh and enlivening things so we can see more clearly, feel more freely, think more productively, living further into our own evolution.

That may mean stepping up, embracing courage and determination to achieve something specific; it may be retreating to what's truly important, ditching previous expectations and instead searching for quiet.
